Crispy, naturally sweet, and lightly dusted with cinnamon sugar, these air fryer apple chips are the perfect healthy snack. Made with just a few ingredients, they are easy to prepare and require no oil or deep frying. Enjoy a guilt-free, crunchy treat in just 20 minutes!

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

2 large apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Wash, core, and slice apples thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar together.
  4. Toss apple slices with lemon juice, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture for even coating.
  5. Arrange apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (no overlapping).
  6. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
  7. Let the chips cool completely—they will crisp up as they cool.

Notes

For spiced apple chips, add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin spice.

Skip the sugar for a no-sugar option.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
