Ingredients
2 large sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into fries, about 1/4-inch thick.
- Toss the fries in a large bowl with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.
- Spread the fries out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, feel free to add variations such as a spicy kick with cayenne pepper, an herb twist with rosemary, or even a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for a sweet-savory combo.
For crispy fries, make sure to spread them out in a single layer and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
