Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these Blueberry Cream Cheese Egg Rolls are an irresistible dessert or snack. Filled with sweetened cream cheese and juicy blueberries, then fried to golden perfection, they’re the perfect balance of texture and flavor. Try them baked or air-fried for a lighter option!

  • Total Time: 16 minutes
  • Yield: 8 egg rolls

Ingredients

8 egg roll wrappers

8 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for sealing)

Oil for frying

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Make the Filling – In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  2. Assemble the Egg Rolls – Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner facing you. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center. Fold in the sides, roll it tightly, and seal the edge with the cornstarch mixture.
  3. Fry Until Golden – Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
  4. Dust & Serve – Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes

Berry Mix: Swap or add raspberries, strawberries, or diced peaches for variety.

Chocolate Twist: Drizzle melted chocolate over the top for an indulgent treat.

Baked Option: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, brushing with melted butter.

Air Fryer Alternative: Air-fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Cinnamon Sugar Coating: Roll in a cinnamon-sugar mix instead of powdered sugar for a spiced twist.

Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheating: Reheat in an oven at 350°F for 5 minutes or in an air fryer for 3-4 minutes. Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess.
