  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon flour

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz egg noodles

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes until softened.

  3. Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.

  4. Gradually add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and the beef is tender.

  6. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  7. Once the beef mixture is ready, add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Add Vegetables: For extra flavor and texture, try adding mushrooms, peas, or carrots to the beef mixture.

Spicy Kick: Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a little heat.

Cheesy Option: Top with shredded cheese for a creamy twist.
