Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 small tortillas
Optional toppings: shredded cheese, diced onions, chopped cilantro, sour cream
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes to blend flavors.
- Warm the tortillas on a skillet or in the microwave.
- Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture and top with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, diced onions, chopped cilantro, or sour cream.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
For a cheesy version, mix shredded cheese directly into the beef mixture.
For a crunchier texture, use crispy taco shells instead of soft tortillas.
Storage: Store leftover beef in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
