  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup BBQ sauce

2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small tortillas

Optional toppings: shredded cheese, diced onions, chopped cilantro, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Warm the tortillas on a skillet or in the microwave.
  5. Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture and top with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, diced onions, chopped cilantro, or sour cream.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.

For a cheesy version, mix shredded cheese directly into the beef mixture.

For a crunchier texture, use crispy taco shells instead of soft tortillas.

Storage: Store leftover beef in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
