Ingredients
2 cups whole milk (or your choice of milk)
½ cup white chocolate chips
½ cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Whipped cream (for topping)
Fresh strawberries and grated white chocolate (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Puree: Blend 1 cup of fresh or thawed frozen strawberries until smooth. Optionally, strain the puree to remove seeds for a smoother texture.
- Heat the Milk: Warm the milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until it’s hot, but not boiling.
- Add Chocolate and Strawberry Puree: Stir in the white chocolate chips into the warm milk and whisk until fully melted. Add the strawberry puree and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is well combined.
- Serve: Pour the hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, or grated white chocolate for an extra touch.
Notes
Extra Creamy: Substitute half of the milk with heavy cream for a richer drink.
Sweetness Adjustments: Add sugar or honey to taste for a sweeter drink.
Vibrant Color: Add a drop of red food coloring for a fun, bright pink hue.
Dairy-Free Option: Substitute whole milk with almond, oat, or coconut milk.
Chocolate Variations: Use milk or dark chocolate chips for a different flavor profile.
